Meet Our Support Staff
Gina Lowy, PA-C, MPH
Gina Lowy is a board certified Physicians Assistant (PA) with a Masters Degree in Public Health. Gina specializes in endovascular patient consultations as well as pre and post operative office visits at all 3 office locations at SFVA. Her responsibilities include performing physical exams, interpreting test results, diagnosing vascular conditions and developing patient treatment plans. Gina provides patients and their family’s with compassionate, personal care and guides them through their procedure every step of the way educating them and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
In addition, Gina assists our physicians in the treatment of venous insufficiencies including; endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy.
Gina completed her Masters Degree in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University in 2003.
Gina joined South Florida Vascular Associates in 2009 and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Charline Berrouet, NP
Charline is a certified Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a Master’s Degree in Primary Care. She also earned an Honor’s Degree from the university of Phoenix. Charline’s responsibilities include Endovascular patient consultations and she performs Sclerotherapy treatment for small reticular and spider veins and Endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins and vein insuffiency. In addition, Charline performs physical examinations, diagnoses and treats vascular conditions and helps to manage chronic conditions. As an ARNP Charline is licensed to prescribe medications, physical therapy and rehabilitation therapies as needed.
Charline joined South Florida Vascular Associates in 2006.
Meet Our OR Team
At our facility, patients receive the highest level of care from our dynamic operating room team of registered nurses and radiology technologists who are committed to providing the best patient experience in a comfortable environment.
Our RNs are expert clinicians and professionally trained in critical care nursing, procedural care and recovery, conscious sedation, IV insertion, and managing medical emergencies. Each patient will receive individualized one-on-one nursing care to ensure safety and decrease anxiety. During each procedure, the physicians are assisted by one of our specially trained radiology technologists who are certified in vascular-interventional radiography.
Here at SFVA, we are passionate about keeping our patients well-informed about their procedure and follow-up care, so a team member will communicate with our patients every step of the way.
